Woodies & Recable As far as sound goes, the cable, exclusive tweaks and the enclosure size is where the most improvement is realized, but wood also plays a role. The same soft sleeving is used and configuration as Senn V2 cables, only wired direct to the drivers.
I will need to modify (shorten) your forks (as seen in pics) so the woodies will fit. This is to keep the wood walls of the chamber thicker for more sound reinforcement and overall strength. The extended part that I modify has no purpose other than styling. The woodies depth vary by wood type, deeper is better IMO. Button removal at your request. Woody end tips may not pass by the larger new version 325i band, thus you only have about half adjustment length of rods.
From my perspective, when you purchase a woody/recable the recable is virtually free, due to the labor involved in making/assembling the woodies. This is one of the reasons I don't offer woodies separately.

Now offering GS-1000 recabling! I must remove the drivers and enlarge the stock entry hole to recable these.
GRADO Locking Adjusting Rods… Adjust them tight like the old HP1000's to lock the rods from moving up and down and that never ending Grado cable tangling and annoying swiveling. Can be finger adjusted very easily while wearing them. Either in stock silver or black. Available with recable or woody/recable only.
