Senn V2 replacement cables for HD-580, HD-600 and HD-650 headphones. I use brand new Senn 650 connectors, which will also fit 580-600 and HD25 (turn cups over for HD25 use).
Wider soundstage, better instrument separation, and overall transparency/musicality, is what customers are saying about the V2 cable. Probably the most neutral Senn cable available, hear what your drivers are capable of… Also upgradeable in either BlackCopper, BlackMax or BlackGold inner configurations.
Outside covering is a special soft sleeving that I've found is very low in microphonics, unlike other replacement cables that use standard Techflex. The connector splice uses multiple layers of adhesive heat shrink, to hold up for the entire life of the cable.
These V2 have been popular since their inception, thus I've not changed the V2 internal formula over the years. Senn woodies help lift what I hear as a lush veil and provide a more balanced frequency range to my ears. Overall impact will increase. The standard depth brings the music in your face closer while the deeper depth woodies create a nice balance of soundstage, depth and bring out the high end better. I prefer woody on, rather than open, with both 580's and 600's. More of a "club" feel and rock can. For 650's I like either full screen (virtually cosmetic only) or Deep version. Some like standard depth on 650's also...

Now available, replacement cables for HD-490-495-500-590 headphones. These cables would also work for other cans that use a sub-mini 2.5 headphone stereo jack at the can. This cable will not work with 595's. I've found a nice quality sub-mini jack to use in building these cables. Make sure your cans jack can accept a round end as shown in above pic or you may have to file the hexagon shape to fit the upgraded plug. Will fit the cans listed above, beyond that dunno...
